Networking is a piece of cake
Guests at a Poppleton & Appleby and Ludgate Finance event found that networking was literally a piece of cake!

Around 25 professional women joined members of the firm’s teams for a networking get-together with a focus on cupcakes in the elegant surroundings of 17th century St John’s House in Lichfield, recently given a new lease of life as a luxury venue.
Julie Crisp of Lichfield-based cake makers and decorators Cakeydora demonstrated how to decorate a cupcake before guests had the chance to put their own decorating skills to the test.
Julie donated a voucher for a lesson at her baking academy for the best-decorated cupcake, which was won by Wendy Gillette of Wag Associates, while Claire Hill from Chartwells was presented with a luxury Easter egg after winning a business card raffle.
Kate Jones of Poppleton & Appleby said: “As well as some familiar faces we had a number of new guests from in and around Lichfield.
“The event was a great way for like-minded professionals to network in a relaxed setting and our thanks go to Julie and the St John’s House team for helping to make it such a success.”
