Case Administrator

We are now looking for an experienced Case Administrator’s to join our team.
You will be a member of a case administration team headed up by one of our Senior Managers. You will work alongside Office Holders and Senior Members of the team together with other support staff assisting and supporting the team with a wide and varied portfolio of cases, dealing with all aspects from the client take-on and pre appointment steps, the commencement of a solvent or insolvent procedure and all steps required to conclude the assignment. You will be responsible for working within a wide spectrum of regulatory case progression and case conduct requirements.
Relevant experience in dealing with Insolvency cases is therefore an essential requirement.
The main activities in the role are:
- Assisting in dealing with client take on procedures and preparing documentation to comply with Money Laundering rules and regulations.
- Preparation of all forms and documents required in various corporate solvent and insolvent procedures, including Statements of Affairs and Declaration of Solvency
- Inputting data into specialist software (Turnkey’s IPS) to record case specific information.
- Liaising with directors and creditors.
- Realising assets.
- Helping to draft and review formal reports to creditors and other stakeholders.
- Supporting the team with client visits in order to carry out work and retrieve necessary books and records.
- Attending meetings of shareholders and creditors.
- Supporting with investigations.
- Agreeing creditors’ claims.
- Making distributions to creditors.
- Maintaining case working files.
- Meeting deadlines set by senior members of the team.
What’s required for the role:
- A minimum of 3 years’ insolvency experience, together with a Strong academic track record.
- Good knowledge and experience of Administrations, Liquidation (CVL and MVL) and CVA processes.
- Previous experience using IPS software.
- Engaging personality, with strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure, deal with ambiguity and manage conflict / challenging situations.
- Strong team player.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience of short-term cash flow and other forecast reviews.
- Experience of interpreting accounting information would be advantageous, as would, proficiency in the use of Microsoft Suite, particularly Word and Excel. Experience of accounting packages often used by clients such as Xero and Quickbooks would also be an advantage.
- The CPI qualification would be an advantage but is not essential.

- Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm, Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm with 1 hour lunch 1pm to 2pm.
